Creative marketing manager
Job: Creative Marketing Manager
Location: Onsite, City of Chicago Duration: Direct hire, full time Our client, a leading lighting manufacturer, is seeking a Creative Marketing Manager with a sharp creative eye and strategic mindset to lead their marketing efforts. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape the brand's voice, drive engagement, and lead a talented in-house team. What You'll Do As Creative Marketing Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the company's marketing strategy-balancing creativity with execution to elevate brand visibility and customer engagement. Responsibilites- Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement integrated marketing plans across print, digital, social media, B2B campaigns, and trade events.
- Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a small team of 3-4 creatives, including designers and renderers.
- Email Campaigns: Oversee segmented email marketing initiatives, maintain contact lists, and analyze campaign performance.
- Product Expertise: Gain deep knowledge of the product line to craft compelling, informed marketing strategies.
- Trade Show Management: Coordinate all logistics, materials, and documentation for trade shows and industry events.
- Media & Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, partners, and clients. Sales Enablement: Create impactful sales tools-presentations, brochures, catalogs, and more.
- Social Media Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a social media strategy that drives engagement and brand awareness.
- Content Oversight: Review all internal and external content to ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment.
- Brand Stewardship: Uphold and evolve brand guidelines across all marketing materials.
- Budget Oversight: Manage the marketing budget with strategic foresight and financial discipline.
- Background in lighting, architecture, or interior design is a plus
- Experience marketing premium or high-end products
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills
- Proven ability to lead strategy and execute across multiple channels
- Experience collaborating with creative teams, photographers, and vendors
- Familiarity with social media, video, PR, email campaigns, and trade shows
- 2+ years of experience managing a marketing budget
- Prior management experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
