Job Summary/Purpose:
The Village of Bensenville, IL (population 18,813) seeks Temporary Seasonal Public Works Employees to assist the Public Works Department in completing tasks in an efficient and safe manner. Seasonal Employees support the Public Works Operations during the summer months. This is a temporary, full-time, non-exempt role working 40 hours per week during the summer.
The job requires outdoor physical activity in various weather conditions with frequent lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds.
This is a part-time position, not to exceed 40 hours per week or 1000 hours in the calendar year. The hourly rate is $17.
