- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (State-specific)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Minimum 2 years in Critical Care, Cardiac Care, or Procedural/Outpatient Specialty Settings
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Strong computer and documentation skills
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific evaluations
- Coordinate and ensure completion of interdisciplinary screenings and reassessments, including pain management
- Assist physicians during specialty procedures and operate specialty-specific equipment
- Educate patients and families on procedures, treatment plans, and follow-up care instructions
- Administer medications safely in accordance with nursing standards and patient-specific needs
- Monitor cardiac status, including telemetry, dysrhythmia recognition, and hemodynamic interpretation
- Utilize cardiac protocols such as stress testing and adenosine administration
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical documentation in the EMR system
- Communicate effectively with providers regarding patient condition changes and diagnostic results
- Support interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to patient safety standards and established hand-off communication protocols
- Maintain a secure and compliant clinical environment
- Cross-train across consulting specialties to provide flexible coverage
- Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
