We're excited to share a great opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse - Med/Surg (Corrections) in Chicago, IL!
Now Hiring: Corrections Med/Surg RN
Location: Chicago, IL (Correctional Facility)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (possible extension)
Shift: 5×8-hour shifts(Days/Nights)
Job Description:
As a Corrections Med/Surg RN, you will:
- Provide high-quality medical and surgical nursing care in a correctional setting
- Perform thorough patient assessments and medication administration
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting
- Collaborate with security and medical teams to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment
✅ Requirements:
- Active Illinois RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Primary source verification of licensure
- Completion of facility skills checklist
- Availability every other weekend
- Willingness to float between units
