Child and Family Psychotherapist

The Anxiety & Stress Center P.C. has a part-time contract position of 8-10 hours per week, primarily in the Homewood Office, for a motivated and engaging therapist. In-person, after-school hours, evenings, and weekends are needed to accommodate immediate referrals for children as young as five, adolescents, and their families. The therapist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy. Culturally informed competence is essential for delivering quality treatment to our culturally, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse client population. The competitive pay is based on degree, licensure, and experience, ranging from 47% to 60 % of what is collected. Therapists are paid consistently every two weeks.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT) or Doctorate (Psy.D. or Ph.D.)
• Will consider a license-eligible, experienced therapist
• Well-versed in various evidence-based theories and interventions
• Practices culturally informed therapy
• Lives by the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion

• Has good interpersonal skills
• Passionate about their work and the communities they serve

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments, diagnoses, and treatment
• Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and their families
• Communicate with referring professionals as necessary
• Prompt follow-ups
• Regularly attend clinical meetings
• Maintain up-to-date records
• Stay abreast of therapeutic updates
