Paint Production Specialist — SPP Batch Filling

Imagine stepping into NPAA’s Small Paint Plant (SPP) where every day you turn precise instructions into finished product that customers trust. You’ll guide batches from the Automated Pail Filling Room to final labeled containers, keep operations flowing across teams, and use modern systems to document it all.

How you’ll make an impact

• Production excellence: Operate automated pail filling systems, mixers, scales/load cells, filling pumps, and filling machines to complete daily batches.
• Quality & safety mindset: Follow Company SOPs, batch tickets, process sheets, and safety policies; identify potential off-quality products and launch corrective actions per abnormal process procedures.
• Right container, right label: Fill finished goods into proper containers and generate accurate labels meeting customer-specific IDIOS.
• Systems & documentation: Use SAP, Microsoft Access Database, and Microsoft Office to complete orders within the LPP process.
• Cross-functional support: Assist other Operations areas outside of LPP when needed and participate in improvement teams to share your ideas.
• Care & cleanliness: Maintain assigned equipment and uphold housekeeping standards in production areas.
• Waste handling: Transport waste from point of generation to the 90-day Storage Area; close and label containers according to NPAA procedures.
• Material movement: Safely operate a forklift to move materials.

Salary

$17.39 to $25.75. Compensation for this role is negotiable based on experience and skill set.
