Responsibilities for an Assembler include but are not limited to: Positions parts according to blueprints or knowledge of unit being assembled Fastens parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners Operates drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operations Maintains work area according to 5S principles and performs material handling duties Candidates for Assembler must meet the following requirements to be considered: High school diploma or GED Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and assembly equipment What's in this Assembler position for you?
