We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Chicago, IL. If you have a passion for mechanics and enjoy troubleshooting and repairing machines or equipment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment engines and related systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Salary info:
$27 - $34 / hr
