PRN Pediatric Occupational Therapist

At Play n’ Grow Therapy, we believe kids learn best when they feel safe, supported, and engaged in play. We are a pediatric occupational therapy clinic in Algonquin, IL, now also offering speech therapy! We’re seeking an energetic, playful, fun, dedicated and collaborative part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) who is passionate about helping children and families thrive in a play-based environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual OT for children (ages 2–12).
• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with our SLP to support whole-child development. Being open to co-treats is a must!
• Partner with parents through coaching, education, and collaboration.

What We’re Looking For

• Current Illinois OT license.
• Minimum 1 year pediatric experience working directly with children and families.
• Experience with feeding therapy preferred but not required.
• Someone who values play-based, strengths-focused, and neurodiversity-affirming therapy. Most importantly, we are seeking someone who is passionate about kids and can engage the kids in sessions utilizing a child-led approach. DIR/Floortime certified is preferred but not a must. If you have no experience with this model, we will provide free training for the right candidate who is willing to embrace and learn the model!

Hours & Location

• Part-time/ PRN : 3-10 hours per week. Growth potential if you are interested.
• Location: Play n’ Grow Therapy, 1134 N. Main Street, Algonquin, IL. If you are open to home health, we can also offer nearby home health clients with mileage reimbursement.
