Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support the Credit Memo process within our ERP system. This role involves transferring data from SharePoint and Excel into the ERP, managing communications and task tracking via Outlook, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in credit memo entry.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter credit memo data into the ERP system from Excel spreadsheets and SharePoint records.
• Review and verify source documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain organized records of processed memos and correspondence.
• Communicate with internal teams via Outlook to resolve discrepancies or gather missing information.
• Track and manage credit memo status using Outlook tasks or shared folders.
• Assist in identifying and reporting recurring data issues or process inefficiencies.
• Follow established procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data.

Work Environment

• 8:30-5pm M-F - Mount Prospect / Hybrid
• need high speed internet at home or will be required to work in office 5 days a week.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working for a large manufacturing company
• 1+ year of experience in data entry, preferably in a ERP environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, M2k, etc.) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Mount Prospect, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
