Procurement Category Manager I
Job Responsibilities:
- Support execution of category strategies for semiconductor and electro-mechanical components
- Collect, organize, and analyze pricing, supplier, and part attribute data
- Conduct competitive pricing analysis to support sourcing decisions
- Assist with supplier selection, onboarding, and ongoing communications
- Maintain accurate vendor master data and system records
- Upload and extract procurement data from ERP and internal systems
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and quality issues
- Partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to align sourcing needs
- Track and report key procurement metrics related to cost, delivery, and performance
Skills:
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Experience navigating ERP systems and performing data uploads/extracts
- Comfort working with large datasets and spreadsheets
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing
- General understanding of purchasing processes and supply-base management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic data analysis and reporting capability
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
