Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based social worker opportunity is available at an elementary school serving grades K-3 in the Harvard, IL area. This contract position runs from August 11, 2025, through May 30, 2026, providing essential social services to a caseload of 20 to 30 students. The position offers 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work services to elementary-aged students (K-3).
• Assess and support student social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop intervention plans.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and comply with school policies.
• Facilitate referrals to community resources as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possession of School Social Worker (SSW) certification.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
• Experience working with young children in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively while prioritizing student needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
