Job Details

• Location: Peoria, IL (Zip: 61637)
• Duration: 13 weeks (August 18, 2025 - November 17, 2025)
• Shift: 8-hour days
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2750 - $2820

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Echo Sonographer
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• Proficiency in 2D/3D cardiac imaging, transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echo
• Experience with contrast and EPIC EMR
• Pediatric echo experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Review patient charts and previous study results to select appropriate equipment
• Perform echocardiology diagnostic tests ensuring high-quality echo exams
• Capture images in CPACS and complete sonographer reports
• Discuss test results with physicians and other departmental personnel
• Maintain equipment and perform minor adjustments as needed
• Assist in clinical training of new staff and students
