Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) in Chicago
- Assist surgeons during procedures by performing tasks such as suturing, tissue handling, and bleeding control.
- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care as needed.
- Maintain sterile technique and surgical field safety.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective communication and patient care.
- Document patient care accurately and timely according to hospital policies. Qualifications:
- Active RN license (Illinois)
- RNFA certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of surgical or perioperative experience preferred
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Flexible scheduling (per diem)
