Cannabis Packaging Technician

Viridian Staffing's client is looking for Temporary Packaging Technicians to help with packaging duties during a busy season for a cannabis company in the Joliet, Illinois area. These positions are expected to start on or around early/mid February and go for 29 calendar days. For workers who do a great job, there is the potential for this to convert to a permanent position. Please note that the Day Shift is Monday - Friday (7am - 3:30pm).

As a Packaging Technician, you will help to measure cannabis products, package the product, and then label the product accordingly. You will also get to help collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality. You may perform a variety of other processing tasks as needed. While experience packaging cannabis is not required, you should have experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to closely follow standard operating procedures is required. You should also have the ability to sit, stand, twist, and kneel for up to 8 hours. Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Eligible to work for a licensed Cannabis company in the State of Illinois
• Willingness to comply with OSHA regulations

Pay Rate: $15/hour
