SME Architect

Akkodis is seeking a SME Architect for a Contract with a client in Schaumburg, IL. You will lead solution design and architecture for subscription management systems, ensuring seamless implementation of Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSMC).

Rate Range: $60/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

SME Architect job responsibilities include:

• Solution and architect subscription management IT products, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.

• Configure and implement Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSMC) to support processes like product catalogs, pricing, billing, and revenue recognition.

• Translate business requirements into functional design documents and oversee technical feasibility sign-off.

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and primary client contact, guiding subscription business models and Oracle Cloud optimization.

• Lead client workshops and interviews to gather and analyze requirements related to subscription lifecycle management.

• Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership, ensuring successful delivery and adherence to enterprise standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in solutioning and architecting subscription management IT products.

• Proven expertise in Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSMC) and deep understanding of subscription lifecycle processes (pricing, billing, renewals, revenue recognition).

• Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional designs, lead client workshops, and act as a trusted subject matter expert for subscription business models.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $64.00 per hour
