Reporting Analyst Assistant
As a Reporting Analyst Assistant, your primary responsibility is to translate raw corporate information into clear, organized datasets and written summaries. We do not build slide presentations or participate in typical management consulting ceremonies. Instead, we produce rigorous written analyses.
Your day-to-day work will center on:
- Reading extensive corporate filings, performance logs, and internal strategy papers to isolate key details.
- Structuring and verifying quantitative data to ensure every figure in our final briefs is completely accurate.
- Drafting the initial descriptive portions of our advisory memoranda, translating numerical findings into precise, plain English.
- Performing targeted background research on market conditions and corporate histories to support our principals' analytical assessments.
This is an entry-level position designed for someone early in their analytical career who possesses a natural talent for clear writing and logical analysis. We do not require years of prior experience, but we do expect intellectual discipline and sharp attention to detail.
Specifically, we look for:
- An exceptional standard of written English. You must be able to draft concise, formal prose that avoids corporate buzzwords and gets straight to the point.
- Comfort working with quantitative data. You should know how to work with spreadsheets, verify totals, and identify anomalies in large sets of information.
- A strong academic background in a field that emphasizes rigorous research and writing, such as economics, history, literature, or finance.
- The ability to work independently, manage your own time, and respect the strict confidentiality of high-level strategic discussions.

This position is offered under a hybrid work arrangement. We believe in providing the flexibility of working from home while maintaining the value of regular, focused in-person collaboration. You will split your time between working remotely and meeting with our team in our office environment to review projects and refine our analyses. This setup offers both the autonomy to focus deeply on your reading and writing tasks, and the immediate feedback that comes from sitting down face-to-face with senior advisors.
