College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving is growing fast, and we’re looking for experienced, high-energy leaders to join our team as Professional Team Leads / Captains. Pay & Earning Potential

1. $18–$22/hour base pay
2. Daily tips, bonuses, commissions, and advancement opportunities
3. Overtime pay after 40hrs
4. Top Captains earn well above base pay through performance, leadership, customer satisfaction, and bonus opportunities PLUS additional bonus pay for interstate moves.

What You’ll Do

1. Lead a team of 2–6 movers on residential and commercial moving / junk removal jobs
2. Run efficient, organized, and professional job sites
3. Deliver a 5-star customer experience from arrival to completion
4. Conduct walk-throughs, set expectations, and communicate clearly with clients
5. Lead loading, unloading, wrapping, protection, and truck packing
6. Ensure jobs stay on pace, on scope, and on standard
7. Handle payments, paperwork, and job closeout
8. Communicate with management throughout the day
9. Upsell services (junk removal, labor, valuation, etc.)
10. Set the tone for hustle, professionalism, and accountability on every job

Moving experience is required for this role. You must understand the moving process and be able to lead a team efficiently, professionally, and safely.

Requirements

1. Must be 18 years of age or older
2. Previous moving experience required
3. Previous leadership / management experience required
4. Must be able to lift and carry 100+ lbs regularly (team lift for heavier items)
5. Must be comfortable working 8+ hour shifts as needed
6. Must have strong customer service and communication skills
7. Must be able to pass a background check
8. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred (required for Captain-qualified drivers)
9. Must have reliable transportation to and from work
