Job Title: Information Technology Analyst I
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 27-Week Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (60-minute break)
Pay Rate: $23–$26 per hour
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Technology Analyst I to support day-to-day IT operations within a healthcare environment. This role provides technical support, system troubleshooting, and basic systems analysis to ensure reliable technology services for clinical and administrative users. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically curious, and comfortable supporting users across varying technical skill levels.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users, including clinical staff
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application-related issues
Assist users with account setup, system access, and login issues
Install, configure, and maintain workstations, peripherals, and related equipment
Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues as appropriate
Support healthcare information systems and related workflows
Perform basic analysis and resolution of HL7 interface issues, when applicable
Manage incident tickets, documentation, and status updates using IT service tools
Collaborate with IT teams on system enhancements, upgrades, and improvements
Maintain accurate records of issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
Deliver excellent customer service and provide technical guidance to users
Assist with special projects, system deployments, and testing activities as needed
Adhere to organizational policies, data confidentiality standards, and IT security protocols
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with effective problem-solving abilities
Ability to support users with varying levels of technical expertise
Preferred Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical operations
Exposure to healthcare information systems (HIS) or clinical environments
Working knowledge of:
HL7 messaging standards
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with MS Project and Visio a plus
Windows and UNIX operating systems
Databases such as Oracle and SQL
Basic programming or scripting (Java, HTML, Visual Basic, C/C++, Perl)
