CreditSights is currently seeking an Operations/Compliance Associate based out of our Chicago office.

About the Team
Bixby Research and Analytics (“Bixby”), a division of CreditSights is the leading private information provider in the $1.5+ trillion leveraged loan market. Since 2018, Bixby's SaaS platform has been revolutionizing the way institutional investors consume information for their private investments. Bixby's market moving news and expansive financial data keeps hedge funds and asset managers ahead of their competition. Bixby’s platform is relied upon each day as a trusted source of information for some of the largest, most-awarded institutional investors in the credit market.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Daily Operational/Compliance procedures.
- Work closely with Compliance Manager and senior research staff to manage compliance programs and execute on associated operational processes and control systems.
- Document Management/Categorization.
- Review, revise, and continuously improve upon, existing compliance programs, policies and procedures as necessary to identify risks and stay in line with mandated compliance policies.
- Ability to review own work product to ensure accuracy and completeness in a time-sensitive environment.
- Permission management of document and site access.
You May be a Good Fit if:
- Bachelor’s degree required. A variety of educational histories will be considered for this role, especially those with Accounting/Financial/Legal backgrounds.
- 2+ years of compliance and operational experience. Specific experience in finance / asset management is strongly preferred.
- Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF skills required.
- Established skills in accuracy, organization, and experience working in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
- Ability to manage and execute challenging projects with minimal oversight.
- Possess strong organizational skills, sound judgement and hold highest ethical standards.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60,000 and $67,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
