Full-Time Housekeeper

Position Summary: Our clients, an executive couple with grown children who spend winters in Florida, are searching for an experienced Executive Housekeeper for their home in Winnetka, IL. This person will be working alongside their current Housekeeper of 30+ years. The ability to travel is a plus, not a must. *Qualified applicants will be contacted, and immediate interviews are available. Responsibilities: Perform daily general and deep cleaning of the interior, keeping the house clean and always organized. Daily laundry, including ironing of clothes and linens. Manage and lead a team of housekeepers. Bring in mail and packages. Make returns as needed. Regularly check supply levels and monitor pantry, refrigerator, supply closets, bathrooms, etc., keeping the areas organized and restocking supplies as needed. Run errands such as dry cleaning, grocery shopping, FedEx/UPS, and any requests made by the House Manager and Principals. Be the eyes and gatekeeper of the home, answering the doorbell and overseeing vendors when needed. Excellent hospitality experience. Qualifications: Must have a valid driver's license. Prior experience in a similar position with verifiable references. Professional demeanor and appearance with a positive, pleasant personality. Sound knowledge on proper care protocols with the ability to care for antiques, artwork, crystal, fine china, silver, brass, marble, fine linens, and cookware, etc. Long-term intent. Flexible and able to accommodate changes in plans/routine with ease. Willing to perform any other duties as requested. Schedule: The schedule will be 5 days/week with two consecutive days off, one being a weekend day and one being a weekday. Compensation: This is an hourly position of up to $45/hour, dependent on experience, plus a year-end bonus and benefits.
