Position Summary
The Regional Clinical Manager serves as the clinical expert across multiple healthcare domains, including infection control, wound care, surgical procedures, vascular access, LVAD, durable medical equipment (DME), remote patient monitoring (RPM), and related categories.
This role provides expert clinical support to field sales teams to achieve strategic business objectives and drive revenue growth. The Regional Clinical Manager leads product evaluations, customer training sessions, and implementation initiatives while shaping the customer experience across the sales lifecycleâfrom adoption to long-term satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a clinical and education expert, providing training and support to internal teams, customers, distributors, and partners.
Lead field-based product evaluations, implementations, and maintenance activities, including account setup and tailored training plans.
Train field sales representatives and oversee per diem clinical staff to ensure clinical competence, consistency, and ROI from training.
Develop and execute clinical education programs, including the design of training materials, CE accreditation processes, and professional presentations.
Conduct customer needs assessments, troubleshoot issues, and provide targeted clinical strategies to enhance customer success.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support educational initiatives and thought leadership.
Represent the organization at professional associations, conferences, and trade shows through presentations and educational content.
Provide clinical input to new product development, portfolio innovation, and training strategies for launches.
Support clinical research initiatives, ensuring alignment with FDA and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, and sales teams to develop clinical messaging, tools, and content.
Deliver clinical education through digital platforms (e.g., webinars, eLearning tools, virtual conferences).
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
Qualifications
Experience
5+ years of clinical nursing experience in areas such as Operating Room, Wound Care, Infection Control, Vascular Access, or Critical Care.
3â5 years of experience in a nursing manager or educator role with demonstrated leadership in staff development and training.
3â5 years of medical device industry experience preferred, particularly in clinical education and customer engagement.
Education
Bachelorâs Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Masterâs Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
Credentials
Registered Nurse (RN), licensed and in good standing (required).
Nursing certifications (e.g., WCC, CNOR, CIC, CCRN) strongly preferred.

Ability to link clinical training and education to business outcomes.
Effective leadership, project management, and collaboration skills.
Proven success in training design, delivery, and educational program management.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency with digital tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, webinar platforms, eLearning).
Strategic, innovative mindset with the ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments.
Travel & Work Environment
Willing and able to travel up to 80% for customer-facing activities (evaluations, training, conversions, support).
Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. for product demonstrations and training setups.
Requires frequent walking/standing in hospitals, conference centers, airports, and other customer settings.
