Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job Details

• Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing
• Location: Oak Park, Illinois 60304 (Chicago metro area)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Assignment Start Date: September 15, 2025
• Assignment End Date: December 15, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $3000 - $3080
• On-Call Requirement: After hours, weekends, and holidays (10-14 days per contract)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred; IR training available for qualified candidates
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to complete all required onboarding modules and fingerprinting prior to start date

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Perform Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology procedures
• Assist with CT Coronary Angiogram (CTCA), Stress Tests, TEE/DCCV, and patient monitoring
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours, weekends, and holidays
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
