Delivery driver

Position Description:

We are currently seeking an Applicant for the position of Delivery Driver. The Delivery Driver would be responsible to assist in loading and unloading material from a cargo van and delivering to multiple sites in the Chicago region daily. The Delivery Driver would be required to follow all safety laws and rules of the road. The Delivery Driver would need to be able to document and account for all delivery and pick up orders, stay organized, and report back to the office as needed. The Delivery Driver will also on occasion be asked to assist in the company warehouse to accept deliveries, organize material, inventory control, and packaging efforts.

Position Location and Hours:

This is a full-time, in-person, position that will start and end each day out of our Lincolnshire, IL office. The typical work week is Monday through Friday, with daily work hours being approximately 5:30 am to 2:00 pm. Some Projects or Duties of this position may require alteration to this schedule, including additional hours at times.

Minimum Required Experience and Skills:

· A minimum of two (2) years of experience driving delivery or service vehicles.

· Must be fluent in English.

· Be on time and dependable.

· Knowledge of roads, interstates, and neighborhoods in the City of Chicago and surrounding suburbs.

· Must have a valid State of IL Class D driver's license and clean driving record. Driver’s license history will be run by federal database prior to starting employment. A background check will be conducted as part of the State of Illinois PERC Card application process.

· Will need to be able to lift and carry items more than 50 lbs. safely and regularly.

· High School Diploma or Certificate required.

· Organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.

· Ability to be present and comfortable on construction sites for deliveries.

Compensation Package:

· Position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

· Compensation is $22.00-$25.00 per hour, based on applicant qualifications and experience.
