Azure Cloud Architect

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure . The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure modernization, and security best practices . This role requires hands-on experience with Azure services, cloud migration strategies, and enterprise cloud solutions , along with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-performance, scalable cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure .

• Develop and execute cloud migration strategies for enterprise applications and data.

• Provide technical leadership on Azure best practices , including networking, security, identity and access management (IAM), and cost optimization.

• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)deployments.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security regulations, and organizational policies .

• Conduct cloud assessments and recommend suitable Azure services based on business needs.

• Develop and maintain documentation, architectural diagrams, and technical guidelines .

• Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and optimize performance, scalability, and resilience .

• Stay updated with emerging Azure technologies and industry trends .

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering .

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Storage, Azure Functions, and Azure Active Directory .

• Strong knowledge of networking, security frameworks, and cloud-native application design .

• Experience with Terraform, ARM templates, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools .

• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash .

• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) .

• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC 2, NIST, etc.) .

• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments .

• Strong communication and leadership skills to interact with stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (strongly preferred).

• Experience in data engineering, AI/ML solutions, or cloud-native application development .

• Familiarity with multi-cloud architectures (AWS, GCP) .

• Hands-on experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures .
