Animal Medical Center of Plainfield is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in Plainfield, IL. As a 18-doctor, full-service General Practice and Emergency hospital, we provide top-tier veterinary care to pets throughout the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. Due to growth within our GP department, we are expanding our team!

What We’re Looking For:

· A Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or an experienced Veterinary Technician with 1+ years of experience.

· Surgical experience is a must – comfortable assisting in GP surgery, anesthesia monitoring, and perioperative nursing care.

· A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist veterinarians in general practice appointments, surgery, and dental procedures.

· Perform blood draws, IV catheter placements, and anesthesia monitoring.

· Educate clients on preventative care, post-surgical instructions, and treatment plans.

· Operate and maintain diagnostic and surgical equipment.

· Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area.

· Provide exceptional patient care and client communication.
