Restaurant General Manager - Scratch Kitchen & Cocktails

NextGen Hospitality Solutions is seeking a Restaurant General Manager for our Scratch Kitchen & Cocktails location in Chicago. This full-time, on-site position is perfect for a passionate leader who aspires to drive excellence in the fast-paced restaurant industry.
As the Restaurant General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure top-notch guest experiences, and manage a talented team. Your leadership will contribute directly to the growth and success of our establishment, focusing on both operational efficiency and exceptional service. We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $130,000 annually, alongside opportunities for professional development and advancement in a thriving company culture.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring service excellence and adherence to standards
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Enhance guest experiences through innovative service strategies
- Monitor inventory management and coordinate with suppliers
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring profitability
- Identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
- Foster a positive team environment and promote staff engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in restaurant management, with a focus on leadership
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and financial management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in staff management and team building
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and POS software
- Passion for guest service and quality food and beverage offerings
