Key Job Details – Peoria Nursing Jobs

• Location: Peoria, IL 61637 (Illinois healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Women's Care Unit (LDRP)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/15/2025 – End: 12/15/2025)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed (excluding orientation)
• Bed Size: 18 beds
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Dress Code: Scrubs
• Orientation: 1 day (additional as needed)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2340-$2400

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Illinois nursing license preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (all required for healthcare jobs)
• Proficiency in scalp electrode placement, newborn care, electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), and cervical checks
• Experience with EPIC, OBIX, Pyxis, and Stork systems preferred
• Ability to float to Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics Acute units as needed
• Must pass a drug screen (OSF is a drug-free campus)

OBGYN RN Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive obstetrics-focused assessments and electronic fetal monitoring
• Administer medications and collect lab specimens
• Assist with patient exams, including cervical checks
• Provide expert newborn care and support for mothers throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Float to related nursing units as needed to support patient care demands
