Midway Windows & Doors is a privately held, family-owned vinyl window and door manufacturer with over 55 years of industry experience. We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and help keep our production facilities operating safely and efficiently.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations across our production facilities. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage staff, coordinate maintenance projects, and ensure equipment and facilities remain operational with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and assign work to maintenance staff to ensure the plant remains operational at all times
• Oversee maintenance projects and verify work completion
• Maintain a hands-on presence on the production floor and assist with repairs when needed
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for shop equipment and facilities
• Maintain production lines across three buildings with minimal downtime
• Establish and manage Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Purchase machinery, tools, and replacement parts as needed
• Utilize and maintain CMMS systems for work orders, preventive maintenance, and parts inventory
• Support capital expenditure (CapEx) planning by evaluating equipment condition and recommending improvements
• Maintain parts inventory to prevent operational delays
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships for maintenance and repair services
• Coordinate external vendor support when repairs exceed internal capabilities
• Manage facility systems including fire and burglar alarms

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years supervisory experience in an industrial maintenance environment
• Experience managing facility maintenance operations
• Knowledge and experience installing and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems up to 480V
• Tooling and industrial equipment maintenance experience
• Experience with CMMS systems (MaintainX preferred), including work orders, inventory, and PM scheduling
• Knowledge of OSHA and applicable federal and state safety regulations
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
• Experience with capital expense planning
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
