Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Carol Stream, IL
Pay Range: $30/HR - $33/HR (Depending on Skills and Experience)

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for a Bookkeeper with our client located in Carol Stream, IL . Our client is a rapidly growing, family-owned manufacturer of environmentally friendly biological cleaning products that serves customers across multiple industries. Experiencing over 50% year-over-year growth , they are looking to add an experienced Bookkeeper to their close-knit accounting team to help support continued expansion. This Bookkeeper will be hired on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an immediate need, so the ideal candidate will be available to interview and start as soon as possible.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Prepare and post monthly general ledger journal entries
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
• Assist with month-end close and financial statement preparation
• Support weekly accounts payable processing, including vendor invoices and check runs
• Apply cash receipts and assist with customer invoicing and account reconciliations
• Help organize documentation for annual audits and tax preparation
• Work closely with leadership to support accounting operations in a fast-paced, growing environment

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, assets, and liabilities
• Advanced attention to detail with strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP experience preferred)
• Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
