Bookkeeper - Manufacturing Experience
My client is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to help maintain and establish their internal books. My client is a family owned manufacturing and distribution company located around the Elmwood area. The person in this position before hand was in the role for 5+ years. The ideal person will be someone that has experience with family business'
salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per yearshift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: No Degree Required Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries using accounting software.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee ADP payroll processing, tax filings, and related reporting requirements while maintaining meticulous records.
- Maintain organized financial records for audits, governmental reporting, and internal review purposes.
- Supervise administrative tasks such as managing office supplies, coordinating vendor relationships, and supporting team communication.
- Assist with budgeting processes, financial analysis, and cost control initiatives to support organizational goals.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant financial policies and procedures while continuously seeking process improvements for efficiency.
