The role includes preparing, assembling, and fusion welding metal parts according to specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble metal components for welding.
- Perform TIG welding operations using manual and automatic techniques.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of weld rods and consumables.
- Follow quality systems, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols.
- Maintain housekeeping and organization of the work area.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training or prior experience in TIG welding preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and welding instructions.
- Knowledge of welding procedures, safety, and equipment operation.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Primary work location: Manufacturing floor.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling/crouching, and exposure to noise.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
