**Job Title: Warehouse Worker**
**Job Description**
We are seeking dedicated candidates to support our warehouse operations for an exciting GM project at our Belleville location. Join us in ensuring seamless logistics and efficient handling of goods in our state-of-the-art facility.
**Responsibilities**
+ Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to the correct destination.
+ Efficiently stage, stack, and load merchandise in appropriate areas.
+ Move product from staging/unloading areas into the correct load door and assigned trailer.
+ Ensure trailers are secured and chocked before entering, following safety policies.
+ Load/unload products correctly using appropriate handling techniques.
+ Segregate, check, and stage inbound products correctly.
+ Verify the driver, trailer, and bills correspond to the specific carrier and location.
+ Count freight with the driver and ensure all requirements are followed.
+ Load trailers for safe transit and ensure drivers sign all required paperwork.
+ Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
+ Keep an organized and orderly desk/office area.
+ Perform other duties as assigned, including cleaning, organizing, and sweeping work areas.
+ Utilize a mobile work station to pack orders, validate inventory counts, print labels, and communicate with drivers.
+ Build pallets, shrink-wrap pallets, and use a pallet jack to organize orders once packed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in picking and packing based on a pick slip or customer order form.
+ Ability to use a computer or RF scanners to track inventory.
+ Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
+ Proficiency in using material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in general labor, loading, shipping and receiving, and warehouse inventory management.
+ Steel-toed boots/shoes are required for safety.
