Financial Advisor / Financial Planner - Series 65 or 66 Required

About the Role:

Established wealth management firm with 20+ years of experience and $350M+ AUM is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor / Lead Planner (Service Advisor) to join our growing advisory team.

This is a client-focused financial planning role (not a cold sales role) supporting ~700 households with retirement planning, investment analysis, tax strategy coordination, and holistic wealth management services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary advisor contact for assigned clients
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial and retirement plans
• Prepare investment, portfolio, and asset allocation analyses
• Conduct client review meetings and ongoing relationship management
• Analyze retirement income strategies, annuities, and insurance solutions
• Support tax planning and financial strategy development
• Utilize financial planning software and advanced Excel models
• Collaborate with advisors in a team-based pod structure
• Ensure proactive year-round client communication and service

Required Qualifications:

• Series 65 or Series 66 License (Required)
• 3+ years of experience working directly with financial planning clients (Required)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• Strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
• Experience in financial planning, retirement planning, or wealth management

Preferred Qualifications:

• CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) designation or in progress
• Life Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Strong knowledge of retirement income planning strategies
• Highly detail-oriented with strong communication skills

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday: 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:45 AM – 2:30 PM (early finish when priorities are met)
