Position: Server
Required Experience: 2+ years in full-service restaurant (upscale casual or higher preferred)

About the Server Position
At Kozy Restaurant & Bar, our Servers are not order-takers — they are experience curators.
We are a modern Korean dining bar focused on refined hospitality, thoughtful service, and elevated yet approachable cuisine. As a Server, you are responsible for guiding guests through our menu, confidently explaining flavors and techniques, recommending beverage pairings, and creating an atmosphere that feels warm, polished, and welcoming.
You must be detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and passionate about hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
Perform opening, closing, and side work duties with precision
Attend and actively participate in daily pre-shift meetings
Greet and engage guests with confidence and warmth
Demonstrate strong menu knowledge (food, cocktails, wine, beer, spirits)
Provide thoughtful recommendations and pairings
Accurately enter orders into POS with clear modifications
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
Proper tray handling and professional table maintenance
Maintain cleanliness of dining room, bar area, restrooms, and service stations
Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar teams
Handle guest concerns with professionalism and composure
Follow all alcohol service laws and proper take-home procedures
Continuously improve service skills and product knowledge

Compensation
Hourly: ($9-10/hr est.) + tips ( defends on experience)

Requirements
Availability on evenings and weekends
2+ years of full-service experience

Must obtain :
Food Handler Certificate
BASSET Certification

Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented mindset
Preferred (but not required)
Wine knowledge
Craft cocktail familiarity
Korean cuisine experience
Fine dining or upscale casual background
