INTERNAL ONLY - FUMC Custodian
🏛️ Now Hiring: Part-Time Custodial Team Member First United Methodist Church | Evanston, IL | $20/hr | 20–25 hrs/week
We're looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual to help keep our church facilities clean, safe, and ready for our congregation and community.
Weekend availability is essential — Sunday mornings (7:30am–12:30pm) are required, and Saturdays are a key part of this schedule. If you're someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys a behind-the-scenes role that makes a real difference, we'd love to hear from you!
What you'll do: ✅ Clean and maintain building interior & exterior ✅ Set up rooms for services and special events ✅ Perform light repairs (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, landscaping) ✅ Work with staff, volunteers, and the Facilities Manager
What we're looking for: 🔧 Experience in commercial janitorial or facilities maintenance 🔧 Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible hours 🔧 Strong work ethic and team player
