We have an immediate opening for Powder Mixer/Compounder to ensures the safe, quality, and consistent mixing of all production batches based upon orders received and stock levels. Key Job Functions: Following batch making schedule and making all batches necessary to fulfill orders Accurately weigh and measure materials to follow production formulas, batch records, and safety procedures Taking all batch samples with corresponding batch sheet to Chemist for quality control Reporting all problems and concerns with new and existing formulas to Chemist Operate blending equipment Ribbon Powder Mixing Machine and mix powdered ingredients per batch instructions. Performing quality control in the lab as required to back-up Chemist and/or Lab Technician Keeping all raw materials properly labeled and stored and in their proper location Ensuring that all batch tanks, drums, pails, and lab samples are properly identified and labeled Working with FIFO inventory Work closely with quality control, maintenance, and other production staff to meet production targets. Providing Purchasing with a weekly requisition for raw materials to be ordered Reporting equipment breakdowns immediately to Chemist Comply with OSHA, ISO, and company safety regulations at all times.
