Your Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer for John Deere in Moline, IL, you will:
- Work on a product team and lead product design by providing technical leadership in addition to planning, coordinating, coding and testing to deliver functionality of a complicated nature on the complete product or products it supports;
- Design significantly more complex parts of a system independently;
- Provide coaching and mentoring to others within the technical discipline;
- Develop creative functionality and provide solutions to complex problems by identifying and organizing necessary resources;
- Develop, code, configure and test programs and systems;
- Evaluate and implement enhancement design solutions to improve cost, quality, performance of software applications
What Skills You Need
- 6 years of experience specifically in design, development, configuration and support of business processes utilizing Vistex Incentives and Payback. Additionally, integration experience with SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS) required
- 5 years of experience in design, development, configuration and support of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) as well as detailed experience in ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming)
- 5 years of experience in Order Fulfillment IT Systems specifically in: SAP Process Integration, SOAP Gateway, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP LE, SAP FI, HANA Studio, and SAP Gateway as well as specific experiences with SAP Integrations with systems other than SAP
- 3 years of experience in Java, JavaScript, and REACT development for UI/UX
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field plus 6 years related experience.
