Overview

As a Practice Marketing Manager, Global Communication and Multinational Benefits & Mobility, you will define and execute go-to-market strategies for two global practice areas, Communication and Multinational Benefits & Mobility. You'll be the central marketing expert for assigned practices, products, specialties, and services, bridging the gap between business leadership, sales, and marketing. You will leverage market intelligence and data to articulate our messaging and empower sales and marketers in the US, UK, Canada and Australia to drive demand and revenue.

This role requires strong collaboration, analytical rigor, and the capability to leverage technology and data for significant marketing impact.

How you'll make an impact

  • Strategic Marketing and Business Alignment:
    • Collaborate with business leadership to outline strategic objectives, market opportunities, and revenue goals.
    • Develop and align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Act as the primary marketing point of contact for the Global Practice Leaders for Communication and Multinational Benefits & Mobility and each practice’s leadership team, providing strategic guidance.
    • Lead quarterly and annual planning sessions.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy, Value Proposition & Positioning:
    • Develop clear, differentiated messaging frameworks for assigned practices, services, and solutions.
    • Identify the core value proposition, key benefits, and competitive positioning.
    • Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing and sales channels.
    • Simplify complex information into concise and persuasive marketing content.
    • Articulate and promote Gallagher's Global Communication and Multinational Benefits & Mobility deep data capabilities, resources and subject matter expertise as part of its value proposition.
  • Content Strategy and Development:
    • Develop and execute content strategies that support the buyer's journey across various formats (e.g., website content, blog posts, white papers, case studies, webinars).
    • Collaborate with subject matter authorities and the marketing team to create impactful content.
    • Ensure content is optimized for SEO and aligns with brand guidelines.
    • Remain nimble and market-responsive with content and strategies to support a fluid global communications and benefits marketplace.
  • Stakeholder Management and Cross-Team Collaboration:
    • Build strong relationships with sales leadership, product marketing, regional marketing teams, and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate optimally within a matrixed reporting structure.
    • Provide clear communication and reporting on marketing plans, initiatives, and results.
    • Partner with US, UK, Canada and Australia regional marketers to understand local market requirements and support localization.
    • Coordinate campaign calendars and milestones.
    • Use analytics to understand asset performance.
    • Liaise with Brand/Compliance/Governance.
  • Data and Insight-Driven Innovation:
    • Utilize market insights, customer data, and campaign metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Utilize data to inform messaging, targeting, and channel selection.
    • Explore innovative marketing approaches and technologies.
    • Use campaign data, audience insights, and feedback to refine content.
    • Stay ahead of market trends and competitive messaging.
  • Competitive Market Intelligence:
    • Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics.
    • Utilize competitive intelligence to inform messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and regulatory shifts.
    • Gather insights on local market dynamics and competitor activities.
About You

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing communications or similar field and 7 years related experience.

Highly Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 8-10+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in benefits, health insurance, HR technology, or financial services.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and value propositions.
  • Strong understanding of the US benefits landscape.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex information.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing content strategies across channels.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and inform decisions.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing technology (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools).
  • Experience with SEO best practices, project plans, and editorial calendars.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and innovative mindset.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
