Field Systems Technician

Description

The Field System Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining the Technical / Facilities infrastructure of Lisle and Surrounding sites. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of Technology systems and services, providing technical support to user, staff, and adhering to policies and procedures to follow up on day-to-day task and/or project. The Field System Technician works closely with the Facility Technology (FT) and Local Facilities team and other departments to ensure that the Sites needs are met efficiently and effectively. Hiring manager is looking for a junior candidate with a few years of general IT experience, whom he plans to train, emphasizing soft skills like communication and the ability to work with executives and admins.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Education: Associate degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Experience: o Minimum of 2 years of experience in technology support and/or administration. • Skills: o Understanding of Windows Client/Server operating systems. o Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). o Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. o Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lisle, IL.

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lisle,IL.
