Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a highly regarded global law firm, seeking a Legal Coordinator to support attorneys during a busy period. This is a contract opportunity offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional services environment.
Job Description:
The Legal Coordinator will manage billing operations for a group of attorneys and clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities, and experience working within legal services.
Key Responsibilities:
· Address inquiries from attorneys, clients, and internal staff regarding billing inventory, time and expense entries, and unapplied payments
· Share and reinforce billing policies and procedures with attorneys and clients as needed
· Prepare and circulate draft invoices summarizing time and expenses by matter
· Review partially paid invoices, investigate discrepancies, and determine appropriate resolution steps
· Leverage internal reporting tools, including Excel and dashboards, to fulfill data and reporting requests
· Support attorneys and administrative staff with time entry corrections and transfers between matters
Qualifications:
- Experience supporting attorneys directly
- Proficiency with systems such as Elite, 3E, Aderant, or similar platforms
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
