In-Venue System Technician

Momento, a Chicago-based sports fan experience and data analytics company, is currently accepting applications for the role of In-Venue System Technician.

The In-Venue Technology Associate will support the installation, operation, and maintenance of Momento’s in-venue imaging and edge-compute infrastructure across multiple professional NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS, and college sports venues. This is a hands-on technical role focused on system reliability, live event support, and proactive troubleshooting. The Associate will work closely with Momento’s internal technology and operations teams to ensure all hardware and networked systems are fully operational before, during, and after each live event.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage game day system startup, validation, and operational readiness across assigned venues
• Verify camera systems, edge CPUs, and printing hardware are online and functioning prior to events
• Assist in camera housing assembly, system configuration, and pre-deployment testing
• Support new venue installations including pre-event staging, onsite setup, and documentation
• Contribute to ongoing system optimization initiatives as Momento expands into new markets. Some travel will be required

Qualifications

• Strong technical background & knowledge with Windows-based operating systems, cameras and network infrastructure
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills in time-sensitive operational settings
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, in alignment with live event schedule. Some travel will be required

This is an in-person role, which will start out as a part-time position and with an opportunity to grow into a full-time role in July or sooner based on performance.
