Multiple Shifts Available - Shift differentials pay for Second and Third Shift ( Overtime as needed)

Competitive Pay based on experience starting at $18.00/hr.

Position Summary

Sev Rend Corporation is a leading manufacturer of flexible retail packaging and sustainable materials. We are actively seeking to fill multiple entry level Machine Operator roles for multiple shift openings, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift positions to join our team at our state-of-the-art production facility in Collinsville, Illinois. The Machine Operators are responsible for operating and monitoring laminating equipment used to glue and bond various materials, including paper, films, and plastics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on machine operation experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate laminators, slitters, extruders, and related machinery.
• Set up equipment for daily production runs, including preparing materials and adhesives.
• Monitor the lamination process to ensure proper bonding using 2-part adhesives.
• Perform in-process quality checks and make machine adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with resolving production problems.
• Handle materials, including pushing and pulling rolls using carts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

• Previous experience in machine operation (laminators, slitters, extruders, or similar equipment).
• Understanding processes involving paper, film, and plastic materials.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.
• Ability to push/pull material rolls and perform physical tasks associated with machine operation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Exposure to adhesives, heated materials, and mechanical equipment.
• Requires standing for extended periods and routine material handling.
