Salary: $135,000-$165,000

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Controller to lead our accounting function and own the monthly close process end to end. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and building scalable processes to support growth. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with Finance, FP&A, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and run the full monthly, quarterly, and annual close process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency
• Oversee general ledger, revenue recognition (ASC 606), payroll, AP/AR, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and management reporting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and PE reporting requirements
• Manage and optimize accounting processes within NetSuite, including system improvements and automation
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, and tax advisors
• Support budgeting and forecasting
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team (as applicable)
• Support international accounting operations, including multi-entity, multi-currency environments (if applicable)
• Assist with M&A integration, system conversions, and process scaling as the business grows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a SaaS software company
• Prior experience in a private equitybacked environment
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Proven experience owning the entire close process end to end
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite
• Strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Preferred

• Experience supporting international entities and multi-currency accounting
• Prior experience with audits in a PE-backed SaaS environment
• Exposure to M&A transactions and post-acquisition integration
• Experience building or scaling accounting teams and processes
