**Job Title: Refrigeration Technician** **Job Description** The Refrigeration/HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC and supermarket rack refrigeration systems across retail facilities. This role ensures optimal equipment performance and safety, supporting smooth store operations. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC/R systems. + Diagnose and repair refrigeration and HVAC issues using digital and manual tools. + Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. + Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and industry regulations. + Maintain accurate records of repairs, refrigerant usage, and inventory. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Refrigeration + HVAC + Industrial maintenance + Preventive maintenance + Documentation management + Communication and people skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Vocational/Technical HVAC/R certification and 2+ years of experience, or 4+ years of relevant experience. + EPA Type I and II certification. + Experience with large-scale rack refrigeration systems. + Valid driver's license; ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy competitive pay with sign-on and yearly performance bonuses. Tasks may require working on rooftops, scaffolding, or in ceiling spaces, and movement over uneven or slippery surfaces, especially during inclement weather. Overnight shifts and varying schedules may be required, with frequent travel between facilities. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Ottawa, KS. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $98696.00 - $98696.00/yr.
