Banner Consultant
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Banner Consultant to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in Banner systems to support our clients' operational needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system implementation, troubleshooting, and functional support across various university administrative areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consulting and technical support for Banner systems, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction
- Assist clients with system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting related to Banner modules
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective system solutions
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to facilitate user adoption and proficiency
- Support system upgrades, testing, and data migration activities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Banner system features and industry best practices
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with Banner systems
- Strong understanding of Banner modules, particularly in Student Financial Aid, Accounts Receivable, Finances, HR, and Payroll
- Proven ability to analyze business processes and recommend system improvements
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
