JOB SUMMARY:

Acts as liaison between clients and project operations to ensure agreed expectations are met. Lead teams, streamline processes, and implement best practices within the revenue cycle. Is responsible for monitoring key performance indicators, analyzing trends, and identifying areas for improvement. Requires an in-depth knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes Provides consultation to client and MBR staff involving revenue cycle operations and related healthcare revenue functions. Reports directly to the Business Office Manager (BOM)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• B.S or M.B.A. degree in business, finance or accounting preferred.
• Relevant HFMA and/or AAHAM Certifications a plus
• Five to Ten years, or more, of healthcare revenue cycle management experience
• Cerner expertise is a must
• Understanding of clinical terminology and hospital workflows to effectively coordinate billing and revenue processes.
• Expert in the use of MS Excel and MS Word software.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Prior management experience in healthcare environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for ensuring that the implementation of processes is efficient and consistent on all projects and performs education and guidance on a variety of duties associated with projects
• Identifies and addresses issues associated with a supervisory position
• Performs a variety of duties associated with MBR operations and functions
• Performs a variety of duties in assisting BOM with projects associated with new and ongoing business development

This is a remote position. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and be located within the Midwest region.
