DeKalb County Rehab & Nursing Center is currently hiring a Community Liaison / Admissions professional. Under the direction of the Administrator, The Community Liaison/Admissions professional will be responsible for maintaining and improving the utilization of facility services including marketing, resident recruiting and admissions, assisting with public relations, and promoting DeKalb County Rehab & Nursing Center's image and philosophy of care. The Community Liaison/Admissions professional works closely with the Social Services Department to ensure facility census goals are maintained. This position oversees the coordination of the day-to-day census in the building as well as publicizing the availability of beds to the larger community. The Community Liaison/Admissions professional orients new resident admissions to facility; responds to initial questions and conducts facility tours.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree. Requires ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Requires ability to establish and maintain satisfactory working relationship with facility staff, residents and their families and the general public. Previous experience in a long-term care/nursing home setting is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 - $82,388.00 per year
