Fabricator Mechanic
LKM Mowing & Landscaping is seeking a skilled Fabricator Mechanic to join our dedicated team. The role involves customizing and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment essential to our landscaping and mowing services. Responsibilities
- Fabricate and modify dump trucks, box trucks, and flatbeds to meet company requirements
- Perform MIG and arc welding on various metal projects throughout the year
- Assist with TIG welding as needed (preferred but not required)
- Support mechanics by welding and repairing damaged equipment
- Conduct general maintenance and repairs on vehicles and small equipment, including oil changes, brake jobs, and other routine tasks
- Perform occasional field repairs using a company-provided service truck
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience (MIG and arc welding required; TIG welding is a plus)
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machinery, vehicles, and small equipment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation
$20–$25 per hour , based on experience. This is a full-time position, typically working 40–50 hours per week from 6:30am to 4:30pm.
