OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Employee Benefits Call Center Specialist to support our team in a seven-month assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our employees by addressing inquiries related to employee benefits education and enrollment.
Please note additional position details below:
- This is a temporary position that is anticipated to go for 6 - 7 months. There may be an opportunity to convert to Full-Time employee.
- This is a fully remote position. We will provide the equipment as long as you have your own high speed internet.
- Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in a call center environment and with an understanding of employee benefits.
How you'll make an impact- Respond to incoming calls and emails from employees regarding employee benefits education and enrollment.
- Provide detailed information and guidance on various employee benefits plans, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and other ancillary benefits.
- Assist employees with enrollment processes and benefit plan changes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all employee interactions and transactions in an Oracle-based inquiry management system.
- Collaborate with internal Corporate Benefits team to resolve complex issues and ensure client satisfaction.
- Educate employees on available resources and tools to support decision-making for and effective utilization of benefit plan options.
- Stay informed about company policies and processes related to employee benefits.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits programs and related regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably within the insurance or employee benefits industry preferred
- Proficient in M365; OraBenecle-based inquiry management system knowledge preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
